Awkward is the best word that can be used to describe what happened between Hillary Clinton and new vice president, Mike Pence. With so many bizarre moments occurring at Donald Trump’s inauguration, it is hard to keep up, but that is the reason the tech gods invented social media. Twitter is having a field day with Mike Pence, who decided to snub Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. Wow, when Pence was told that his first job as VP was to be an attack dog for his boss, he seriously took it to heart.
After the vice president-elect had been introduced, he stepped to the podium on the Capitol accompanied by his wife, Karen. The former governor of Indiana walked to former President Bill Clinton, and the pair shook hands.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was standing next to her husband, extended her hand, and Pence ignored it. Instead, the Republican mumbled something and gave a weird head nod to the former first lady as if to say “I see you, but you are not worthy of a handshake.”
He moved to shake a man’s hand who was next to the former senator from New York and rapidly made his way back to his seat. One person on Twitter was quick to point out that after Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas had administered the oath of office to Mr. Pence, he found ingenious ways not to acknowledge President Barack Obama.
Pence also did a funny dance not to shake Biden’s hands. As stated above, Twitter did not miss the major snubs, and many slammed Pence by calling him classless and disrespectful. One person said: “Anyone else notices that Mike Pence didn’t shake the Obamas’ or the Bidens’ hands? Intentional? #Inauguration.”
A commenter shared: “Pence is such a shady f$cker, when he didn’t bother to shake the Obama’s hands I was ready to slap a b$tch.”
A third individual added: “Anyone else notice that Mike Pence didn’t shake the Obamas’ or the Bidens’ hands? Intentional? #Inauguration.”
The left never loved Pence because of his stance on certain issues, but his uncivilized manners towards three beloved Democrats will further infuriate liberals.
