Mike Huckabee Makes Fun Of Taylor Swift’s Politically Charged Message – ’13-Year-Olds Can’t Vote!’

The man believes Taylor Swift has no political voice due to the fact that her fans are all very young and can’t vote. As you may know, the singer finally made her political views known in a lengthy post on Instagram and encouraged her followers to go vote. But then, Mike Huckabee decided to mock her.
Huckabee started by stating the obvious – that Taylor is entitled to her own opinion, but went on to argue that whatever she says won’t matter regardless of how famous she is because ‘13 year old girls can’t vote.’
‘So @taylorswift13 has every right to be political but it won’t impact election unless we allow 13 yr old girls to vote. Still with #MarshaBlackburn,’ he tweeted.
Of course, he couldn’t be more wrong as Swifties are definitely of all ages, and both male and female, and it is safe to say the big majority is of voting age without question.
It is a longtime stereotype that pop stars, especially those still relevant today are only supported by pre-teen and teen girls which makes no sense as everyone can enjoy music.
Hopefully, they will be at the polls on November 6 to prove to the failed Presidential candidate that they really do have a political voice.
Taylor Swift had kept quiet about her political views until yesterday when she took to social media to explain why she’ll vote blue and to slam Tennessee congresswoman Marsha Blackburn in a very passionate and argumentative message.
‘I’ve always and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect as well as fight for the human rights that I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in fighting for LGBTQ rights and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation is completely WRONG. I believe the systematic racism we still see in this country towards people of color’s terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I can’t vote for somebody who won’t be willing to fight for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, their gender or who they love,’ she partly wrote.
