Mike Fisher has no time for false reports. Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike, announced on social media today that he and Carrie are doing just fine despite media conjecture. Celebrity Insider reported previously that their marriage was in trouble, but it appears though those claims were false.
One person wrote on Twitter that they were “praying for you and Carrie,” and Mike responded by stating they’re not actually splitting up. He said, “we’ve never been better.” Fisher – who hails from Canada – claimed the media reports are disingenuous.
Fortunately for hockey fans, Mike recently announced he would be coming out of retirement to play for the Nashville Predators. The athlete said in the past he would quit hockey for good but came out not long after to announce his re-involvement.
Some speculated that Carrie pressured Mike to get back into playing hockey to save their marriage. However, those were merely rumors.
Fans will remember when they got married back in 2010 and welcomed their son, Isaiah Micahel Fisher, in March of 2015. Three days ago, Mike took to Instagram to post a bible verse from Psalm 139:23-14.
It went, “search me, God, and know my heart; test me and knows my anxious thoughts.” Mike posted the verse because it’s one of his favorite passages and according to him, he needs the reminder daily!
Following the Biblical passage, many of his fans on social media began writing words of sympathy because they assumed he and Carrie were splitting up.
Last month, Carrie had words of praise and support for her husband who revealed he would play in the NHL again. She wrote, “this is happening!” If there’s one thing Carrie is marvelous at, it’s staying resilient in the face of adversity.
As you may know, Underwood fell last year outside of her house and required around 40-50 stitches in her face. She took to her blog to reveal her tumble was much worse than initially expected but refrained from telling the severity because she wanted her privacy.
