Mika Brzezinski Slams Sean Spicer ‘Embarrassing’ Moment

“Morning Joe” co-hosts – Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough – have made it clear that the love affair with President Donald Trump is over. Brzezinski might have possibly angered Trump with a series of tweets where she destroyed White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer for his first press conference where he lied about the turnout of the inauguration of the 45th U.S. president. During the election cycle, the rumored couple was often bashed for being too friendly with The Donald.
Many viewers were left with their jaws on the floor when footage showed that Brzezinski and Scarborough were willing to throw softball questions at Mr. Trump during the primary season. The duo was also caught entering Trump’s hotel room as he waited for results.
How could two political commentators be so cozy with the man, who was running to become the leader of the free world? The TV personalities always got upset whenever they were called out for their strange relationship with the billionaire.
Brzezinski and Scarborough defended themselves by saying that they were cordial with Trump because they wanted to convince him to appear on their morning show for interviews. Few weeks after becoming the Republican nominee, Trump had shunned all media outlets except FOX News Channel.
Recently, Brzezinski and Scarborough were spotted at a dinner that Trump was holding in Florida. After being exposed by another reporter, Scarborough said he was not an attendee at the party, he went to talk to Trump for an interview. Now that Trump has more or less declined to take part in an interview, the gloves are off.
Brzezinski said Spicer’s press briefing looked like a “hostage video,” it was “embarrassing,” and “bad.” In a first tweet, she wrote: “Crowd size? Are you kidding be??” Brzezinski meant to say “me.” She later added: “Sean Spicer’s first hostage video … that was pathetic. Embarrassing. Bad. Just bad.”
She corrected her mistake and came back to Twitter to say: “I am so stunned I cannot spell, ‘beyond,’ ‘bad,’ and ‘really bad.” Scarborough also had some harsh tweets for Spicer and the Trump administration. He wrote Sunday evening: “The Trump Administration’s 1st day was deeply troubling to intel agents, journalists, and allies. For the sake of all, Day 2 must be better.”
He said the day before: “A president who speaks from hallowed ground at Langley about crowd size and press coverage may soon see his ratings drop into the 20s.”
Trump will only be on Fox News because he now hates all other media outlets.
