This year, Mick Jagger is going to miss his eighth kid’s first Christmas. However, he is decided to make it up to the mother of his child, Melanie Hamrick for not spending time with their baby boy on his first winter holiday.
It looks like the 73 year old musician has been a lot more involved in the family sphere ever since his a lot younger, 29 year old girlfriend gave birth to his eighth child on December 8. Mick Jagger even made sure to be present when the baby boy was delivered and flew to New York from London immediately upon hearing the news Harick was in labor.
According to a source close to the couple, “Mick is keen to spend as much time with his newborn son as possible. Everything is on hold as he bonds with his son.” Aw, that’s nice!
“He wants to cherish those special moments and has told those around him to give him space,” shared the source. However, unfortunately that is not always up to him. His packed schedule has forced the rocker to travel overseas and leave his girlfriend with their baby that hasn’t even been named yet.
Mick is trying his best to spend Christmas with his newborn.
“He plans to leave the U.S. before Christmas, but will be back in the New Year,” stated the source. Hamrick’s residence is in New York and there is where she plans to raise their baby. Mick Jagger’s other children’s ages range between 17 year old to 45 year old.
Although Mick Jagger might not find the time to spend with his baby and girlfriend on holidays he intends to make it up to them by offering them a new home and full financial access.
This new son has been a great help in coping with and overcoming the shocking suicide of his former girlfriend.
