Michelle Williams Announced She Has Split From Fiance Chad Johnson

The reality TV curse is proving itself to be more real every day. After what seemed to be a blissful year of being in a relationship, Michelle Williams announced that she has split from Pastor Chad Johnson.
The two met at a religious conference that the Pastor was holding in 2017 and hit it off. The two started dating and he proposed in May of this year.
On December 7, the Destiny’s Child Alum dropped a new single titled “Fearless.” She then accompanied the single with an Instagram Story that announced she was single.
“I still remain fearless. I guess I still remain single! Things didn’t work out. The healing that needs to take place is a must! I don’t wanna destroy another relationship. Blessings to him, his family and ministry. #FEARLESS”
The breakup may have been predictable to some who warned Michelle not to do the reality show “Chad Loves Michelle” that airs on OWN.
Williams defended her decision when she wrote: “Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Chad and I are so excited to announce a partnership with @owntv in the premiere of our new show Chad Loves Michelle #AndILoveHimToo that we are also executive producers of! I know, I know ‘Don’t do it,’ ‘Why in the world would you guys put yourselves out there?’ This is an awesome, unique opportunity to show what God is doing! We mutually wanted to show our journey to marriage. We invite YOU on Saturdays starting November 3 at 9PM!!”
Additionally, Johnson received backlash on insensitive comments he made on the show about his now ex-fiance’s racial background compared to his.
Regardless of what was said between the two, Chad was there when Michelle checked herself into rehab to work on her mental health and is credited with being her backbone at that trying time.
At this point, it may be safe to say that “Chad Loves Michelle” will not be getting renewed. Did you see this coming?
