Michelle Obama opened up about her and Barack’s daughter Malia and shared the one piece of advice she gave her before leaving for college. In addition to that, Michelle revealed whether or not she is thinking of running for president.
The former First Lady said that before Malia left for college, she gave her a really important piece of advice but it looks like the 19-year-old chose not to take it.
Apparently, all that she wanted from her was to ‘not wind up on Page Six.’
‘I do not know if she managed that,’ Michelle added.
However, we know for sure that Malia did actually end up on Page Six quite a lot!
Aside from talking about her daughter, Michelle also addressed the rumors that she is planning to run for president.
‘There are some bright young people out there doing amazing things. I think it is a better investment to invest in creating thousands of me’s because we do not need just one.’
Not too long ago, the former First Lady seemingly dissed the current President Donald Trump and his mindless tweeting.
‘I do not just tweet off the top of my head, which I do not encourage people to do — especially kids. I think kids think telling it like it is and talking off the top of your head is cool, but that has never been good. We were not raised like that. That is rude. That is what you call rude. But yes, I use social media. But I use it like a grown-up.’
She also previously announced that she is planning to release a ‘deeply personal’ memoir titled Becoming.
‘Writing Becoming has been a deeply personal experience. It’s allowed me, for the first time, the space to honestly reflect on the unexpected trajectory of my life,’ she shared on social media.
