Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have a beautiful marriage, and a lot of it is due to the fact that they are each other’s biggest fans. The two often gush over and show support towards one another in many interviews and that is great to see.
The star celebrated Ant-Man and the Wasp’s upcoming release this week, and he just had to talk about Catherine and her successful career as well.
A lot of fans know her from the most iconic projects she was in, such as Traffic, The Mask of Zorro, Chicago and a few others but in reality, the actress has done many other things.
‘She’s branching out in a few other areas. She has got a whole branding line, Casa Zeta-Jones, and she is on QVC, and she is an entrepreneur and I support her fully. The acting roles, particularly for women at a certain age, become more difficult. This is something where you can actually control your own life so she really enjoys it,’ the proud husband told ET.
That being said, she previously talked about her career and how she managed to make a name for herself during an interview for The Mirror.
‘One thing I’m not is humble anymore. I am sick of being humble. I am. ‘So sorry I am rich. So sorry I am married to a movie star. So sorry I am not so bad looking.’ No sorrys. Enough. All that is important to me now is my work.’
Although Michael did not really know about the interview that made headlines, he did say that ‘She comes from humble roots. She’s a humble young lady. If you got it, flaunt it. She’s probably saying I’ve worked hard enough. She earned it.’
