Last week First Lady Melania Trump wore a jacket reading “I really don’t care. Do U?” when visiting migrant children. And even though her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said the jacket had “no hidden message,” an insider says that there was something behind the Zara jacket that many believed to be insensitive.
“Melania is tired of being quiet and hiding inside the White House. She wanted to make it loud and clear that she really does not care for any of it. For weeks leading up to the ‘I don’t care’ jacket moment, Melania has felt frustrated, angry, and tired of being complicit to her husband’s actions,” the source told Hollywood Life.
The FLOTUS has not spoken out about her controversial fashion choice, but the insider’s comments contradict President Donald Trump’s explanation that he tweeted after his wife visited a migrant children’s center in Texas. He said the jacket referred to the Fake News Media, and now that she knows how dishonest they are, she doesn’t care anymore.
The insider also claimed that Melania’s staff and aids all advised her not to wear the jacket. But, she did it anyway as a rebellious act against her husband and his alleged cheating, not to mention his policies that go against her “Be Best” initiative.
Melania Trump's Jacket mess was the result of one of 3 things:
#1 She Really doesn't give a crap about the children
#2 She cant read English
#3 This was a planned Distraction.
There is no way this was just one big coincidental mistake

The source also said that the First Lady is “sincerely heartbroken” about immigrant children being separated from their families and she wants to help. However, she is also surprised that the message on her jacket “blew up in her face.” Apparently, she wasn’t expecting the reaction she got and feels terrible that people misunderstood the message.
Melania does care about the immigrant children, and she does want help make a positive change, says the insider. The FLOTUS did tweet about her husband’s immigration policy after the visit and wrote that she hopes Congress will be able to “reach across the aisle and find a solution.” She also said that visiting with the children was touching and the kids were in good spirits despite the difficult circumstances.
But some criticized Mrs. Trump for calling on Congress to fix the situation instead of her husband.

The President did decide to reverse his administration’s family separation policy, but there are still thousands of children in many different states still separated from their families, and there doesn’t appear to be a plan in place to reunite them.
Grisham also said in her statement that she hopes the media will focus on Melania Trump’s important visit instead of her wardrobe.
