Melania Trump dons a silver dress designed by Monique Lhuillier that cost almost $8,000, and everyone has an opinion on it.
Last week, the first lady was everywhere talking to the victims of hurricanes Irma and Harvey.
Every time Melania stepped out of the White House, her shoes made headlines.
There was a lot of talk about her $750 black and beige Chanel flats, while her $50 Converse sneakers were a hit.
However, her $595 snakeskin Manolo Blahnik stilettos infuriated a few.
Not because of the price, (she is married to a billionaire and can buy whatever shoes she wants), but because she was going to see Americans who had lost everything.
The former model also spilled ink with her choice of accessories such as the Hermes Birkin, which retails at a whopping $12,200, that she took to Florida on her trip to talk to those devastated by the natural disaster.
President Donald Trump’s wife grabbed headlines in a glittery embroidered gown from Monique Lhuillier. The creation featured a cape and black ribbon at the waist.
The Slovenia born businesswoman had her honey hair cascading on her shoulders.
The mother of one wore the gown at a gala for the White House Historical Association where she gave a speech, and she explained: “Spending time with the first responders in Texas and Louisiana days ago warmed our hearts to see so many in such a desperate situation responding with kindness, charity, and resolve.”
She added: “We saw first responders, some of whom went from Harvey’s aftermath directly to the path of Irma helping those in need and serving as guardian angels to those left with only prayers and hope. We saw so many who lost so much in these past weeks, a family member, a friend, their first home, or treasured keepsakes.”
Many flooded on social media to share their thoughts on the dress.
One person asked to keep the remarks positive.
The woman said: “If you can’t say anything nice at all please don’t bother. Thank you.”
A second commenter complained about Melania’s hair: “The hair is the n need of a great cut and some highlights. Not a great neckline .she I’d.not getting filler on her face.”
Another slammed the cap because it made her look older.
The fan shared: “True, but as the First Lady, there are lots she can do. They help Trump with his baldness, so a better stylist or even hair up would have looked better. Make her look as if she’s aging gracefully, as others have pointed out; she’s looking 10years older ever event.”
