Meghan Markle’s sister-in-law to be, Darlene Blount, found herself in trouble after the police arrested her for an alleged physical assault on her fiancé according to a source as revealed by Us Weekly. Blount is engaged to Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Junior, and she is charged with fourth-degree assault due to an incident on New Year’s Day.
However, details as to what exactly happened are currently unclear. One source who spoke with us claimed, “it wasn’t a huge physical altercation, but it was bad enough to have the police there to resolve it.”
The last time the media heard from Thomas Markle Junior was during an interview with The Daily Mail where – while talking about the wedding – he said he didn’t know “if Meghan gets to invite who she wants.”
He said that Meghan would reach out if she wanted him there and it was “up to her,” and there was ” no pressure.” Thomas said that seeing his little sister have the biggest wedding in the world would be pretty incredible.
Other family members in Meghan’s circle have made headlines for different reasons, some positive and some negative. Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, said Meghan is finally getting the “family that she never had.”
Samantha announced she would be writing a memoir about her life, but despite what she stated, many people thought it would be a memoir about Meghan and her family.
The sister of the Suits star said she “has a large family and always did.” Their father allegedly made enormous sacrifices so she could enjoy her life. Furthermore, a source who spoke with Us Weekly said that Doria Ragland – Markle’s mother – would walk her down the aisle, but Thomas Markle – her father – wants to do the honor too.
