Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to release a guest list for their upcoming May wedding, but one person who won’t be on it is Markle’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant. The two haven’t spoken since 2008, and the Suits actress isn’t going to use her royal wedding as an opportunity to reunite with Grant.
An In Touch Weekly source says that Markle isn’t planning on inviting Grant and she is “not happy” with her sister’s message to Harry after he called his family something Markle has “never had” in a recent interview.
Harry’s comments seemed to have struck a nerve with Grant, and she responded by saying that Markle has a large family of her own who has always been there for her; and added that no one is estranged, Markle is just too busy.

The insider claims that Markle has no interest in dealing with her sister right now.
“Meghan has enough on her plate planning her upcoming wedding,” the insider said. “The last thing she needs is Samantha drawing attention to herself and giving her unwanted opinion on Harry’s interview.”
Previously, Grant has said that she had no idea if the couple would invite her to their upcoming nuptials, but she thinks it’s impossible for anyone to anticipate a normal and traditional royal wedding.
Grant may not be on the guest list, but there is a lot of speculation as to which celebrities will snag an invitation. Because of Harry being a royal and Markle being a Hollywood actress, there are a lot of big names that could be in the crowd at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Bride’s Magazine reports that Barack and Michelle Obama, David and Victoria Beckham, Patrick J. Adams, Eddie Redmayne, and Elton John could all possibly score invites to the wedding of the year.
Many believe that Markle will bring a little American tradition to the British ceremony and have a maid of honor instead of a chief bridesmaid. According to Elle UK, possible contenders for the position are her best friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney, actress Priyanka Chopra, and her Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty.
She has also reportedly requested that her mom, Doria Ragland, walk her down the aisle.
The 36-year-old has not revealed a lot of details about her wedding day, but fans are desperately wanting to know where the reception will be, what song the couple will dance to for their first dance, and most importantly, who will design her dress.
Another detail not yet confirmed is who the best man will be. Even though Harry has many close friends, the honor will most definitely go to his brother, Prince William.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will say “I do” May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
