It’s literally a dream come true for Meghan Markle! The newest member of the royal family has shared her childhood desire to become a princess long before meeting Prince Harry.
As you may be aware, the former actress used to also run a lifestyle blog named The Tig where she talked about all kinds of topics.
That being said, one essay in particular on the now dead site is resurfacing due to the fact that she recalled her dreams of becoming a princess.
Before interviewing Princess Alia Al-Senussi back in 2014, Markle wrote: ‘Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power. I had a ‘pinch-myself-I’m-emailing-with-a-princess’ moment.’
Well, now she can pinch herself about BEING a princess not just talking to one!
She went on to write that ‘Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.’
And just a few years later, Meghan got to be in Princess Kate’s shoes! It’s crazy!
Posts have continued to resurface lately, despite The Tig getting shut down in April of last year.
One such post is a touching love letter to her mother Doria Ragland that made headlines amid Meghan’s drama with her dad Thomas Markle.
‘She will swivel her hips into the sweetest little dance you have ever seen, swaying her head and snapping her fingers to the beat like she has been dancing since the womb. And you’ll smile. You won’t be able to help it. You’ll look at her, and you will feel joy. I am talking about my mom,’ Meghan writes.
‘To all the wonderful mamas in the world, thank you. For all of the lessons, for all the love. For you. I love you, Mommy,’ she concluded.
