Meghan Markle is doing all she can to stay fit for her wedding with Prince Harry. With fans around the world watching her every step, the former Suits star is hitting the gym and cutting carbs as she counts down the days to her royal wedding. Markle is focusing on restricting her calorie intake and increasing the intensity of her workouts in preparation for the big day. When it comes to her workouts, the actress is a big fan of Pilates and yoga.

But to get in the best shape of her life, Markle has been exercising on a bike and treadmill one hour in the morning and another at night. She’s also using a sauna and has been concentrating on building up her core strength.
Markle is expected to rock a form-fitting dress for the wedding, so toning up is a must if she wants to look her best on her wedding day.
As far as her diet is concerned, Markle has made a few big changes in the past month or so. The actress has completely stopped drinking alcohol and relies on a steady stream of herbal tea and water. She has also eliminated carbs from her diet and mostly eats veggies and soup in order to shed a few extra pounds.
“Meg has cut out carbs completely and now mainly eats lots of organic fruit and vegetables, lentil soup and quinoa,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mirror.
Markle and Harry will tie the knot on May 19 inside St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Chapel. The wedding will come a few weeks after Kate Middleton gives birth to her third child with Prince William – assuming everything goes smoothly.

With roughly a month until the big day, Markle was recently spotted making her way to a gym in London. The actress tried to keep a low profile for the outing and donned a black hoodie and sunglasses. We don’t know what kind of workout Markle did that day, but fans can rest assured that she didn’t take it easy.
Markle, of course, has been very open about her diet and exercise routines in the past. During her time on Suits, she even wrote a blog dedicated to her fitness and dieting habits, called The Tig.
Kensington palace has not commented on the reports surrounding Meghan Markle’s diet and exercise.
