During the game, stars, The Philadelphia Eagles, as well as many fans all joined together in the #FreeMeekMill movement.
The craze simply took over the Internet amid the game!
Many even wore Free Meek Mill jerseys, not only the fans but also one NBA star, Karl-Anthony Towns.
In addition, in order to show their support, other athletes and celebrities including Kevin Hart and LeBron James just to name a couple showed their support towards the rapper on social media.
The Eagles took the field to his music as well!
Finally, Meek Mill took to his Instagram page to repost some clips from both the before and the after the game celebrations, when the Eagles along with fans belted out his song Dreams and Nightmares.
‘It really lifted my spirit to hear the team rally around my songs because that is why I make music—to inspire others and bring people together. The Eagles have also motivated me with the way they have overcome tough situations and injuries to succeed this year,’ he wrote.
Fans were quick to start pouring in his comment section with messages of support, using the already popular ‘Free Meek Mill’ hashtag.
Even those who were not from Philadelphia showed him love.
