The two have reportedly vowed to stay away from any more legal trouble. After his release from jail, we have learned that Meek Mill has been relying on Remy Ma who spent no less than six years behind bars.
It looks like the free Meek Mill is getting serious advice about how to stay away from prison from none other than Remy Ma!
As fans may be aware, the two rappers have feuded before, so their friendship is pretty surprising.
One insider told us that Remy is allegedly giving Meek advice on how to avoid returning to a prison cell.
‘Remy has been completely forthcoming and real with Meek about his sentence and prison release. When Meek told her that he still is not able to leave the county of Philadelphia, let alone the state of Pennsylvania, Remy told him to stay strong and to keep his head up,’ the source shared.
Remy has also opened up before about how restrictive the post-release rules have been for her as well.
‘I have five years post-release supervision. Even though I came home in 2014, I am literally the property of the state till 2019. Like, I have curfew. I have to be in the home by 12:30 every night. And I also have to ask for permission to go certain places and to travel.’
As for their beef over Nicki Minaj diss track ShETHER, the source assure us that is all in the past now.
‘All minor beef aside, Meek and Remy have been able to have honest conversations about their experiences with the legal system. And Remy expressed her displeasure with the system by telling Meek that four years after her release, she still does not feel free because she still has curfew restrictions until 2019. Remy explained to Meek that the system’s designed for inmates to go back after their release.’
The same source added: ‘The system makes the parole rules so difficult to adhere to that slipping up is easy to do. Meek could not agree more with Remy and promised her he would make sure he did everything possible to stay out of prison. That is a pact that he and Remy made that they’d show the world they would be better for their families and the people who care about them.’
Are you surprised to learn the two rappers are over their feud and actually bonding over their experiences with the legal system?
