The singer got a huge scare while on a yacht vacation. It is safe to say that Mariah Carey does not love sharks at all, or at least not when they are so close and threatening.
She took to social media yesterday to share with her many fans a video in which a pretty big shark could be seen quickly approaching her boat.
While she was safe on the yacht, the diva, who doesn’t seem like a fan of the animal, had a lot to complain about regarding the shark.
Pointing to it, Carey said: ‘OK, this is not OK. I know it’s a shark that I’m not supposed to be scared [of], but I’m scared. I’m upset!’
Off camera, one of her kids could be heard asking if she was upset, to which the singer replied: ‘He’s huge!’
While the shark was indeed pretty big, one social media user made it very clear that it was only a ‘harmless’ nurse shark.
But judging by what Carey said in the video, she was well aware there was no threat but she couldn’t help her irrational fear.
Thankfully however, the shark incident did not end up ruining her entire day as she later posted a pic of her and her twins Moroccan and Monroe, 7, enjoying the beautiful sunset.
‘Admiring the sunset ?,’ Carey simply captioned the sweet family pic.
Mariah Carey has been relaxing on her brief vacation before she needs to return to her Caesars Palace Las Vegas residency, titled The Butterfly Returns.
Meanwhile, her former husband and father of her children Nick Cannon is still busy with work back in L.A.
