Lana Del Ray managed to go unscathed following a very creepy and dangerous situation. According to a report from E! Online, Michael Hunt was arrested by police when he tried to kidnap Lana Del Ray with a weapon and also was charged with aggravated stalking.
The police took the man into custody in Orlando, Florida, on Friday night according to E! News. The Orlando Police Department took to Twitter on Saturday to reveal the arrest of Michael Hunt.
The police received a tip which they “deemed to be credible,” and the OPD managed to nab him long before he could get near Lana Del Ray.
Additionally, they released a press release which stated the same information albeit in different words. The police revealed they had confronted Hunt at Hughey Avenue and Central Boulevard on Friday night which was one block away from the concert venue.
He had tickets to see her show as well as a knife but wasn’t able to come near her. The man is currently in an Orange County jail.

Despite the bizarre news, Lana still said “thank you” to all of her fans in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami.
Admittedly, this type of thing is no big deal to someone with as much star power as Lana Del Ray. The singer isn’t the only celebrity to experience bizarre stalker encounters and inappropriate interactions because of negligent fans.
The Kardashians, including Kendall, Kris, and Kim, have all had separate run-ins with men attempting to meet them or talk to them, albeit in an incredibly inappropriate set of circumstances.
It isn’t just women either, Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, had a man crash his car into the gate out in front of his home back in the 1990’s. There’s a reason why the stars often have security.
