Madonna and her ex husband Guy Ritchie have reached a common ground in the custody battle for their son Rocco Ritchie. However, there is still some drama in the family that they cannot shake off completely.
After the 58 year old singer and mother posted a video with kids David and Mercy, who are 11 and 10 years old respectively, Rocco, who is currently living with his father in London left a pretty harsh comment, saying: “So glad I don’t live here anymore.”
Fans immediately fired back at the problematic 16-year-old, accusing him of being way too harsh on his mother. At first he responded by just laughing at the fans, but later on he decided to delete his comments. Even Madonna’s video was deleted from her social media profile as well, in an attempt to avoid any public disputes between her and her son.
Rocco has been a troublemaker in the family before, when the teenager was arrested for possession of pot, not even two months ago.
According to the Daily Mail, he likes to be seen as a rebel just like his parents, and ever since he moved to London with his dad, Rocco has been in a lot of trouble. His wild behavior may even be influenced by him hanging around with David Beckham, Jude Law, and Liam Gallgher’s kids, who all like to party hard.
The boy is rebelling for sure against his parents who put him in the middle of a bitter custody war. The legal battle started in March and even though a settlement that stated Rocco could stay with his dad in London to finish his studies, was reached Madonna appears to hope that things might change along the way.
After his arrest, Madonna released a statement saying, “I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs.”
