Loni Love From “The Real” Slams Whoopi Goldberg Following Emmy Insult

The girls at “The Real” recently took home their first Daytime Emmy Award for talk show hosts category. Even though the vast majority of people out there were very supportive of the women and their win, some individuals were not pleased.
And it doesn’t take a genius to know who it would be: their direct competitors, the one and only, The View.
During a recent episode, The View’s longtime host, Whoopi Goldberg, asked a question to some of her co-workers which sparked a slightly bitter and condescending attitude from nearly all of them.
According to Joy Behar, the women over at The Real simply copied The View, including their topics, subjects, and the way they conduct the show.
Goldberg explained that even though they didn’t win, there isn’t another show out there who deals with controversies in the way that The View does. Behar responded, “they don’t do a child having a tantrum and politics, that’s what we do.”
Meghan McCain, who other publications have described as a “right-wing” commentator, said that The View discusses legitimate issues, rather than The Real, which is more gossip-oriented.
As for how the women over at The Real responded to the news, Loni Love, took to Instagram to admit that while they don’t get down in the dirt with difficult and challenging political issues, they “talk to the people,” or in other words, they discuss more down to earth commentary.
Additionally, Love explained that The Real doesn’t have nearly the budget that The View has, and The Real is more focused on issues that affect, “women of color.”
