The cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming overseas while they enjoy a trip to France, but they are missing two people – Lisa Vanderpump and Denise Richards. Could Vanderpump opting out of the trip mean that she is leaving RHOBH?
Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and Teddi Mellencamp were all spotted filming this past weekend at a cafe in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in southeastern France, and a fan shared a pic of the ladies on Instagram.
According to Us Weekly, Vanderpump chose not to attend the Season 9 cast trip amid rumors that she is not on good terms with her co-stars. Multiple reports had surfaced that the cast was not inviting the restaurateur to film, but Kyle shut all of that down before the French vacation by revealing that there had not been one event that Vanderpump hadn’t been invited to.
“If she’s not there, it’s because it’s her choice. So, I mean, I love Lisa, and I have to respect that it’s her choice,” explained Kyle. “People speculating or people saying, ‘Oh, she’s being bullied or excluded’ is not true. That’s not the case at all. So they’re going to have to watch this season and see themselves but, you know, she’s always included, and I guess if she wants to come around and show up, she will.”
Denise, the newest cast member, apparently had to skip the trip because of the California wildfires. The actress lives in Malibu with her new husband, Aaron Phypers, and last weekend she shared pics of herself and Phypers along with firefighters and friends outside of their home.
Friend of the Housewives, Camille Grammer, also had to miss the European vacation because of the wildfires. According to insiders, Grammer and her new husband, David C. Meyer, were ordered to evacuate and she only had time to grab some jewelry, her passport, and a few other important items.
Sources say that the wildfire did destroy Grammer’s home, but she and her family are safe, and they will rebuild.
As for Vanderpump, she has been refusing to film alongside her castmates all season, and Kyle says that it will make great TV, but it has been hard on the ladies because they have had to tolerate a lot of drama. She says that viewers are going to be “really taken back by a few things,” but she thinks it will be a very exciting and interesting season.
Kyle admitted that they have never had a season like this before, and with so much craziness going on it’s going to be a very different situation. She says that after nine seasons on the show, you would think that she is used to the drama, but the truth is you never really are.
Watch Lisa Vanderpump in possibly her last season when Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres in 2019 on Bravo.
