Unfortunately, things are not going for the better regarding Meek Mill. It seems that he continues to stay jailed. Check out more details on his current situation.
Meek’s legal team claim that Judge Genece Brinkley requested the rapper to drop Roc Nation and hire another manager. It seems that she was reportedly referring to her friend but this was just debunked.
According to TMZ, the court transcript of that particular hearing that took place in the judge’s private chambers have definitely shown that the judge was not the one who suggested that Meek should hire another manager, Charlie Mack.
Instead, it was Meek’s probation officer who made that specific commend and not the judge.
The probation office though that Mack would be a good influence on Meek and that’s why it seems that he made that comment, according to TMZ.
According to the transcript, the office told Meek that ‘What I like about Charlie, he is not interested in Meek Mill, and instead he is interested in Robert Williams [Meek’s real name].’
The transcript obtained by TMZ shows that the judge made it very clear that she was in fact not trying to get involved in the rapper’s career choices.
She stated that ‘I don’t want the record to suggest who your management is or is not.’
So, it looks like Brinkley did not act unethically.
TMZ was also able to discover the fact that a court clerk has secretly asked the rapper for money. We are referring to Wanda Chavarria who admitted that she gave Meek a note asking him to donate money for her son’s tuition.
