Lala Kent has been very busy lately. From launching her own cruelty-free cosmetics line to moving in with her movie producer boyfriend to now starring in a horror film called “The Row,” Lala has a lot on her plate. During an interview at her movie premiere, the “Vanderpump Rules” star revealed where her friendship with DJ James Kennedy stands and how she’s grown closer with the group of women that she once feuded with
James Kennedy and Lala Kent were like two peas in a pod ever since the model joined the cast in season four. Throughout the fifth installment and the “VPR” reunion show, it became apparent that Lala was sick of the one-sided friendship.
She cut the DJ off when he refused to respect her relationship with Randall Emmett. When asked where it stands now, Lala explained: “[James] and I, our friendship is.. I wouldn’t say we have a friendship but he’s a fun person and I wish him all the best. I think he has amazing talent so I just hope that he gets his head straight,” the 27-year-old told Reality Blurb.
As for what her storyline will be this season, Kent elaborated: “My storyline [will show] lot of what I’m going through in my personal life. We really get into the nitty gritty of that and I don’t think people have seen that side of me before.”
The “Boy” singer and the self-proclaimed Witches of WEHO (Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder, and Kristen Doute) were not fond of Lala for a very long time. Judging by their recent Instagrams posts, a lot has changed.
“We all got to know each other. We are all responsible for putting our guard down and I think that’s the first step when bonding with people, to have that connection of what makes you sad because we’re chicks. That what we bond over is the hardships.”
