As we are approaching the release date for Lady Gaga’s new album, titled Joanne, the pop star decided to give us a small preview of one of her new songs. The song is called “Just Another Day” and according to her declarations, it was inspired by David Bowie.
On Tuesday, Octobe 4, the pop singer had an interview with Ryan Seacrest, where she discussed her new album. There’s a little more than two weeks left until its release and to celebrate this, Lady Gaga showed fans a snippet of one of the new songs, which will be found on the deluxe edition of the LP.
As she explained, this is perhaps one of the most “New York-glam-pop” song on her album. She declared that she got her inspiration from David Bowie and Marc Bolan from T.Rex. Besides these names, we will also see some obscure London metal things and the Beatles. Lady Gaga said that it brings us some air from the electroclash movement in New York, which is where she started coming up, right after that.
She sang on the song and showed us a couple of lyrics on it: “Just another way to prove I love you and it’s hard today/ I’ll lay back in my chair and find a way”. The lyrics seem to be very interesting and seem to talk about some difficulties in a relationship. We’re sure lots of people could identify with this topic, if this is indeed the subject of the song, which might make this new production a hit. Even so, people are having high expectations from Lady Gaga, who was kind of missing from the scene while she was in the studio preparing the new material. Joanne will be out on October 21, so we don’t have much to wait until then.
