The online battle between Kim Kardashian and her hubby Kanye West’s former charity named Donda’s House after his late mother continues! Following the official announcement that they have decided to drop Donda West’s name, the KUWK star slammed the non-profit organization and its co-founder Rhymefest once again.
As you may be aware, the social media drama began on Saturday after Rhymefest, also known as Che Smith tweeted that Kanye has completely abandoned the charity meant to help the Chicago youth.
After Rhymefest accused the rapper of not caring about Donda’s House or the Chicago youngsters in need of help anymore, Kim responded angrily, attacking his music, clothing and more!
As a result, it was announced that because of the beef, Donda’s House would change its name as not to include the moniker of Kanye’s mother anymore.
Yesterday, it was Kim’s turn to shoot back at Rhymefest, and she went as far as to call him an opportunist.
‘Kanye gave his ‘friend’ an opportunity to run an organization on his own. So now that Kanye’s being publicly shamed for not being involved makes no sense and, at this exact time, just seems very calculated. I have and will always applaud efforts to give back to the community. To fight for justice and help uplift the youth. But I’ll never tolerate someone who was close to Kanye who attempts to use his late mother’s name to publicly shame him while pretending to do good,’ she tweeted.
‘Kanye and Donda started a charity called Loop Dreams. When Donda passed away, they changed the name to Donda’s House. Kanye paid Rhymefest to run it,’ Kim explained.
She went on: ‘After years of lack of performance from the organization and Kanye going through some personal financial issues, he could no longer fund salaries. Rhymefest asked to take over, and Kanye agreed with no financial strings attached.’
Finally, her Twitter rant ended with a word of support for her husband.
‘I will always ride for my man!’
