The reality TV star revealed why she struggled to keep her baby bump hidden from the public eye for no less than five months despite the fact that there were already rumors going around. It’s pretty weird now considering Khloe Kardashians and her baby daddy Tristan Thompson share a lot of pics and videos of True on social media, obviously not concerned about having privacy.
That being said, people are very curious to hear why exactly she kept the pregnancy a secret.
On this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, that period in her life is taking center stage, so fans are finally getting their question answered.
Apparently, Khloe was actually just waiting for her half-sister Kylie to confirm her own pregnancy first.
‘I am really anxious to announce my pregnancy, but Kylie’s three months ahead of me and I want to give her her own time to shine and let her do her own thing. Kylie keeps going back and forth about announcing,’ Khloe says on the show.
But as you may be aware, Kylie did not announce hers until after giving birth which is why she advised Khloe to do it when she was ready.
‘You don’t have to wait for me. You should announce,’ Kylie tells Khloe during a phone conversation.
And it seems like Khloe was very anxious to finally share the great news with her followers as she announced it in December, soon after that phone conversation.
Considering the KUWK episode also focused on the reality TV family’s famous Kardashian Christman party, it’s pretty clear she wasted no time to post about the baby.
‘I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life! I know we’ve been keeping this quite, but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us,’ her statement read.
And of course, while that may be the case, it’s pretty clear one of the main reasons was that she was waiting for Kylie to announce it first.
