During a live on Instagram alongside two of her sisters, Kourtney and Kim today, Khloe ended up using the R-word and social media was having none of it. One user called her out on it, and the reality TV star was quick to apologize.
‘You should pay more consideration to your word choices especially since you have a massive following and do not know who you could be offending. If True had a disability you would use a different word,’ the fan tweeted.
Chloe did not try to find any excuses for her using the offensive word and instead replied: ‘Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say it? You’re a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I’m sorry! Much love today.’
After the apology, many people showed their appreciation that she did not beat around the bush or even escalate the whole thing into a full-blown social media brawl.
Instead, she was humble and self-reflective in her response, something social media needs a lot more of.
Fans praised the mother of one for owning up to her mistake and promising to ‘do better,’ giving her as an example of how all people should apologize.
As a longtime reality star that shares basically everything in her life, Khloe has always been exposed to many chances of making mistakes in front of the whole world, so it’s nice to see she is willing to learn and change.
Speaking of learning, Khloe has been doing a lot of that in the past few months since giving birth to her daughter True, especially when she had to figure out how to juggle a baby and her job.
