Kristin Cavallari is excited about The Hills reboot after all. After turning down an offer to be a part of the revival, Cavallari recently admitted that she plans on watching The Hills: New Beginnings and would love to return to the series at some point.
Cavallari, who currently stars on her own show, Very Cavallari, opened up about The Hills revival during the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend.
The reality star revealed that she could not be a part of the reboot because of her commitment to her show. She is planning, however, on watching everything unfold and could not be happier about it.
While she cannot be a part of New Beginnings at the moment, Cavallari hopes that will change in the near future. According to Us Magazine, Cavallari said that she has talked about swapping out an episode with Heidi Montag, though that would not happen until later down the road.
“I’d love to be part of it in some little way if I can,” Cavallari shared.
Cavallari is not the only Hills alum that could not do the revival. Lauren Conrad, the show’s original lead, also rejected an offer to return for another go. Conrad left the series after Season 4, when Cavallari took over as the focal point.

The original show aired between 2006 and 2010. While Cavallari and Conrad are out, Montag, Audrina Patridge, Spencer Pratt, Jason Wahler, Brody Jenner, Justin Bobby Brescia and Stephanie Pratt will all be back in action. Whitney Port is also expected to have a cameo at some point.
It is not clear if Cavallari will follow through and appear on the reboot. She is planning on watching the series and is curious how things play out. With most of the characters married with children, Kristin Cavallari is not sure if it will be better than the original.
The Hills: New Beginnings is scheduled to premiere in 2019 on MTV.
