We have our new Angels! The reboot for Charlie’s Angels has found its three leading ladies and apparently, one of them is none other than Kristen Stewart!
ET was the first to report that the Twilight actress is also joined by Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott and that Elizabeth Banks will be directing the revival.

Not only that, but Banks has a role in it as well, as she is set to portray Bosley.
As fans of the cult classic remember, John Bosley was played by Bill Murray in the original.
The three stars of the 2003 version are Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu.
In an official statement, Banks said: ‘Charlie’s Angels, for me, is one of the original brands that celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the 1970s. This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and of his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels. I could not be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi, and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world.’
The reboot that is set to be released on September 27 next year will reportedly be focusing on a new generation of ‘Angels’ working for the ever-mysterious Charlie.
Back in February, Kristen Stewart told ET that she was interested in the film just because the premise is ‘kind of funny.’
She went on to explain that ‘I would love to do it. I’m an enormous fan of Liz Banks, and I think that she’s the perfect person to tell that story in this era. I would back her absolutely all the way. The movie should still be fun, but if you ground it and make it about women that really know how to help each other, it’ll be perfect to release now. We’re all together and strong.’
