Kourtney Kardashian is famous for having a tiny, toned figure, so after she appeared to be eating in every scene of the most recent Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, fans started to shame her for it. But, Kardashian isn’t going to take it and recently told fans on Twitter to back off.
“I swear I just read 100 comments about me eating on tonight’s episode and some of you are very offended. Let me live,” Kardashian tweeted, along with a laughing face and several food emojis.
The 39-year-old mom of three is only five feet tall, and she enjoys trying trendy diets like keto and intermittent fasting. Kardashian also stays committed to regular workouts, and she does all of this work to keep her weight consistent.
An insider says that Kardashian works out and has a regimented diet because she wants to stay around 100 pounds. They add that the reality star doesn’t want to get too skinny, so she eats very healthily in an effort to keep her body at a healthy weight, instead of underweight and malnourished.
The insider says that Kardashian has to work hard to keep her weight up because she has a very different body compared to her sisters. Both Kim and Khloe have documented in the past their respective efforts to lose weight.
Back in February, Kourtney revealed that she weighed only 98 pounds and was only 36 pounds heavier than her 8-year-old son, Mason.
Kourtney’s diet starts in the morning with collagen supplements on an empty stomach, plus a glass of water with one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar. She then eats some homemade avocado pudding for breakfast with whole grain oatmeal before her workout.
A typical lunch for Kourtney is a salad with a lean protein like salmon or chicken, plus some homemade dressing to limit her sugar intake. For an afternoon snack, she opts for fruit or veggies and keeps dinner light with soup.
The main focus of Kourtney’s diet is eating organic foods as much as she can and limiting her intake of refined sugar. She says she avoids sugar for many reasons, including the fact that it is addictive, and she noticed that after she eats it, she needs it.
She added that sugar doesn’t sustain you when you need energy for a workout, and when she eats sugar, cellulite appears.
According to People Magazine, the KUWTK star does give herself the occasional break from her diet, and she has admitted to cheating on the weekend or while traveling. However, when Kourtney Kardashian is home and in her day-to-day routine, she exercises five or six times a week and eats healthy every day.
