Kim Kardashian West made her way back to Paris, France, for the first time since the robbery in the city two years ago. Kim has learned a lot since then and has come a long way.
On the 3rd of October, 2016, the Keeping Up The Kardashians star was robbed by a group of men in the No Address Hotel during Paris Fashion Week.
A group of men donning masks stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry from her in the middle of the night, including a $4 million ring.
Since that incident, Kim has undergone a transformation, both physiological and psychological, and has added another child to her family and continued on her wildly successful career. She hasn’t let the incident in Paris take her down.
Following the devastating incident that shook her husband as well, a source who spoke with us explained, “Kim, for the longest time, she wasn’t doing well at all. And with Kanye’s stress and breakdown, it was a hard time for everyone.”
She was a social butterfly nearly her entire life, but after that, she became more cautious and withdrawn. After the men tied her up and stole jewelry from her, she stayed at home to take care of her children, North, 4 and Saint, 1.
Suddenly, the threat of carelessly using social media became a real one. Ever since Paris 2016, Kim became far more careful with how she goes about communicating her whereabouts online.
It was too much before. One can’t flash their expensive jewelry every day on the internet and wonder why they get into trouble. It’s like what Denzel Washington’s character said in American Gangster, “the loudest one in the room is the weakest.”
Nevertheless, Kim learned a lot from that traumatic experience, and her relationship with Kanye became a lot better.
Even though the media likes to oversensationalize their life, for the most part, Kim and Kanye grew from the robbery, similar to the way Beyonce and Jay-Z grew from Jay’s infidelity. It was a troubling issue to contend with, but ultimately fortified the parameters of their love for each other.
