Looks like Kim Kardashian’s son is taking after his name. 2 and a half-year-old, Saint, is seen snuggling with his little sister Chicago in a recent photo that Kim posted on Instagram.
Her and Kanye West’s middle child is the spitting image of his father as he leans over sweetly and wraps his arms around little Chicago.
Kim and Kanye, as well as their two children, older sister North, and Saint welcomed Chicago on January 15th of this year.
The couple decided to go the surrogacy route this time around as Kim had very difficult, arduous pregnancies previously.
She suffered from placenta accreta, which means that the placenta does not detach and come out with the baby but often grows attached to other internal organs in the body of the mother. This condition can be life-threatening to birthing mothers.
Kim felt that she did want to expand her family but putting her life at risk simply wasn’t in the cards.
So she and Kanye opted for a gestational carrier, or surrogate, who was implanted with one of Kim’s eggs that was fertilized with Kanye’s sperm.
In the photo, little Chicago looks like the spitting image of Kim.
Kim admits that she was initially terrified of not physically carrying her third child inside of her as she did the first two but has raved about what a great choice it was after Chicago was born.
She isn’t quite sure if she and Kanye will have more children but she’s definitely sure she’ll take the surrogacy route again if they do.
Kim admits that juggling her husband and her three kids is a struggle, even with help. That coupled with the amount of meetings she takes, photoshoots she does and other business ventures, it’s no wonder that she can barely keep up with herself.
