Not every Kardashian sister was excited by the idea of being surrounded by a film crew all day. On Tuesday’s edition of Pretty Big Deal, Ashley Graham’s podcast, Kim Kardashian spoke about how she had to convince her family to agree to be on television.
When Kim was in elementary school, The Real World on MTV was making waves and the concept of reality television was very attractive to her. She said, “I want to be on a reality show,” and everyone told her the idea was stupid.
However, Kardashian-West admitted that her famous family didn’t want to be on a TV screen. Ironically, Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been on the air now for 11 years. It’s currently in its 15th season.
Kim said that she convinced her sisters and her mother to do just one season, and they ended up enjoying it. It was actually Kourtney Kardashian who was most hesitant about starting KUWTK.
Kourtney eventually complied, explaining that she didn’t really care what anyone thought of her anyway, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. According to Kim, it’s true; Kourtney doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her. Although, maybe “she should sometimes,” Kim remarked.
As it was previously reported, Kim and Kourtney fought on a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The wife of Kanye West said Kourtney was the “least exciting” member of the family to look at.
Even though they get into a lot of fights on TV, the Kardashian-Jenner family can’t be mad at each other for a long time. They love and support each other.
She and the rest of her sisters even have a group chat that they talk in every single day. Kim said, at one point, she and her family joked that Kylie would have a baby in the 17th season.
