The cameras filming everyone’s favorite reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, are certainly used to scandal and drama. After all, that is the trope of reality TV and without it there is no real appeal – no one wants to see ordinary, routine-driven lives on their flat-screens.
That being said, there was no real reason to keep any drama occurring while filming, private. Usually the E! Producers would choose to keep in anything remotely shocking or scandalous.
As we already know, filming for the show was put under a brief hiatus in 2015 when Lamar Odom had a drug overdose, as well as this year when Kim Kardashian went through the traumatizing gun-point robbery in Paris.
However, although just as problematic, it looks like Kanye West’s recent breakdown and hospitalization is going to be included in the show. Cameras were not present during the rapper’s meltdown, but there is, allegedly, footage that shows the rest of the family discussing the state of the entertainer while he was still at the UCLA Medical Center.
According to an insider, the airing of the said footage might be problematic considering that Kanye has “never been a fan of having the cameras around him. We’re told the show’s producers will be cautious about how they address Kanye’s hospitalization on the upcoming season.”
Of course, Kim Kardashian is one of the show’s producers so the whole conversations concerning Kanye might be completely cut out.
We believe that, although it would be interesting to see what they thought about Kanye’s health scare at the time and how the family handled the unexpected breakdown, it might be all for the better to keep this matter private for the sake of a speedier recovery for the rapper.
Do you agree or are you more curious to know what they talked about? Should the Keeping Up with the Kardashians Production team choose to air the footage anyway?
