Elle Magazine is featuring Kim Kardashian on their April 2018 cover, and in a related interview, the reality star is opening up like never before. And, if you think you know all there is to know about the mother of three, this interview may prove that you don’t know her at all.
The Hollywood Gossip is reporting that the article’s author spent hours talking with Kardashian inside her home and was able to learn some unique things about her daily life.
The first interesting tidbit is that Kardashian’s home is oddly quiet, despite having three kids and a dog.
“My kids just aren’t that loud… My dog’s even quiet; it’s the craziest thing,” Kardashian said and then she thanked The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan, for helping with her canine.
The 37-year-old also revealed that her house doesn’t have any product labels because it doubles as a set for her show, and if the cameras were to catch a label, it would be an advertisement. Kardashian also says that she keeps her home simple, clean, and without clutter, because her life is so chaotic.
She also keeps thing very organized, because otherwise, she would flip out. Kardashian also puts name tags on all of her kids’ clothing, and she is sure to know where everything is. She makes it crystal clear that she never loses anything.
When it comes to her kids, Kardashian has special names for them, with North being “Northy-Lou,” Saint being “Sainty-Boo,” and Chicago being simply “Chi.”
Of course, fans know that Kardashian and her husband Kanye West opted to go with a surrogate to have Chicago, but the reason was because Kardashian almost died while giving birth to North and Saint.
The social media superstar suffered from placenta accreta during both of her deliveries, and instead of the placenta coming out after giving birth each time, it got stuck. She says that is what women usually die from during childbirth because a stuck placenta causes hemorrhaging and you can bleed to death.
Kardashian then revealed that in order to get it out, the doctor had to stick his arm up inside her to scrape it out, and it was painful and disgusting.
When it came time to conceive Chicago, Kardashian and West went with a gestational carrier (technically not a surrogate) because the baby was the result of Kardashian’s egg and West’s sperm.
She is not opposed to having a fourth child, but she would never have more than that. Kardashian explained that her time is spread thin, and she needs to be able to give her husband as much time as she gives her kids.
Kim Kardashian and the rest of her famous family can be seen on new episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Sunday nights on E!.
