It seems that all went well and Kim Kardashian is feeling hopeful after her meeting with President Donald Trump. Kim met with the US President at the White House in Washington D.C. in a quest to free great-grandmother Alice Marie Johnson from prison.
The 63-year-old was sentenced to life without parole back in 1997 after she was accused of money laundering and drug conspiracy. The KUWK star has been trying to help get her released since last year.
Now, Kim says that she is optimistic that Alice will get given a second chance.

Here’s what Kim Tweeted: ‘I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon. We hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense.’
Kim continued, saying that ‘We are optimistic about Ms. Johnson’s future and hopeful that she – and so many like her – will get a second chance at life.’
Trump shared a photo of Kim and himself in his office on Twitter and here’s how he captioned the pic:
‘Great meeting with @KimKardashian today, talked about prison reform and sentencing.’
Kim supported Trump’s rival Hillary Clinton in the election, but Trump may be willing to help because his daughter Ivanka Trump is involved in this situation as well.
Kanye West has also been supporting Trump over the past few months, despite people calling him crazy.
