It is a war between the cast members of Sex and the City — Kim Cattrall is bashing her ex-friends, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.
Tuesday, Cattrall called out Parker who recently left fans of the franchise heartbroken by revealing that Sex & the City 3 is not happening.
Several media outlets confirmed that while Nixon, Davis, and fashion designer Parker quickly signed on to the project — their co-star, Cattrall, was a real diva during the negotiations.
According to insiders, Cattrall demanded that they produce other movies that she was developing before accepting to be on Sex and the City part 3.
Reports are emerging that Cattrall is making an appearance with Piers Morgan on his iTV show, Life Stories, and on it, she clears up her side of the Sex and the City 3 movie drama.
First, Cattrall hit back at the production and the media by tweeting: “Woke 2 a sh$t storm! The only ‘DEMAND’ I ever made was that I did not want to do the 3rd film….& that was back in 2016.”
Now, she is slamming her former colleagues who painted her as the villain.
She said: “And now, now at this very moment, it is quite extraordinary to get any kind of negative press about something that I have been saying for almost a year of ‘no’ that I am demanding or a diva. And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex And The City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer.”
She added: “I really think she could have been nicer.”
This is the comment Parker made that infuriated her old friend.
She said in a recent interview: “It is over…we’re not doing it. I am disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story. It is not just disappointing that we do not get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie.”
Fans are sad by the news and confused by the fact that the ladies are now fighting in public and staining the franchise.
