Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart opened up about their longtime friendship on the set of the comedy Night School, and they talked about their past and their bright futures. The upcoming film was written and is being produced by Hart himself, aside from playing the main character.
That being said, this time, he is Haddish’s boss, but it looks like this work dynamic has not affected their friendship in any way.
We can totally tell they are just as close based on their banter during the interview.
‘He’s the boss… he tells me all the time between takes that he is the boss,’ Haddish said.
‘Very true statement,’ Hart added.
Both comedians have started at the same level, struggling to make it in the industry, so there is a lot of history to bond them to each other.
‘I have known Tiffany for quite some time. Very talented comedian, now turning into an actress. At the success of Girls Trip and seeing how she pops in a film, we felt that adding her to the cast was a magnificent bonus,’ Hart praised his friend.
Haddish only had great things to say about him as well!
‘The truth’s that Kevin is one of the most motivational, spiritually inclined people I know. He teaches me so much about this business and how to conduct myself in such a way, because you know I am from these streets, so he is teaching me to be street smart but do not be street up in here. So I am learning a lot, and I am so grateful he is teaching me how to count money and… and how to get celebrities to come hang out.’ Aww…. Such a great friendship!
