Kevin Federline Tried To Settle Child Support Dispute With Britney Spears “Amicably”

Kevin Federline is trying to wrap things up with his ex, Britney Spears. According to reports, Federline attempted to settle his child support battle with Britney outside of the courthouse.
Mr. Mark Vincent Kaplan said to Us weekly that “Kevin tried to settle this amicably without getting the court involved.”
Kaplan said that Jamie Spears “will have to deal with the court intervention,” which they desperately tried to avoid in the first place. Britney’s attorney-at-law, Laura Wassar, supposedly promised Jamie Spears – Britney’s father – that he would “never have to pay Kevin’s lawyer fees.”
However, Us Weekly claims that a judge told Britney’s team to pay Kevin’s legal fees up until now. Mark Kaplan said he was “pleased” with the judge’s decision to get the fees paid. It’s only right, considering Britney makes considerably more money than Federline, who is raising both of their kids.
Kaplan stated, additionally, “if there is an objection made at a deposition, it will be immediately ruled on by the retired judge.” An insider said to Us Weekly that Jamie would be super happy about the result.
Previously, it was revealed that the 36-year-old singer had to give up her financial information for the sake of the divorce proceedings. A source who spoke with Us Weekly claims that Wassar “accepted the subpoena on Britney’s behalf.”
In the court proceedings, Britney would have to give up a lot of her financial information, including her most recent tax returns, as well as information on her income and expenses.
This news comes after the 40-year-old dancer asked for the court to increase child support payments to their two sons together, Sean Preston, and Jayden James, 12 and 11.
As fans of the singer know, Britney had to give up custody of their children together during her controversial breakdown between 2006 and 2007. Spears came under a lot of scrutiny when she suddenly appeared with a shaved head.
