The Real Housewives of Atlanta just dropped a new trailer for Season 11 and, for the first time in years, Kenya Moore was not featured in the clip. Moore has offered a few explanations as to why she is no longer a part of the show, but her latest excuse might be her best one yet.
Shortly after the trailer was released, Moore issued a statement about the reasons behind her departure. Moore explained that she left the show because she did not want to be in a stressful environment while having a baby.
She also thanked Bravo for the opportunity to be a part of the franchise and seemed open to returning someday.
@KenyaMoore Girl ADMIT & ACCEPT that you were fired so you can move on with your life. You have so many new opportunities to create. RHOA was not willing to pay your price, your premium had passed & you no longer had leverage. Let it go & stop lying. U made ur mark, now ELEVATE!

“I have decided to take this season off to focus on my high risk pregnancy in a healthy and drama free environment,” she explained in the statement.
Although Moore’s excuse sounds legitimate, she has cited other reasons for quitting in the past. In a previous tweet, Moore claimed that she stepped away from the show because of money.
According to Madame Noire, Moore claims that Bravo refused to give her a pay raise in light of her pregnancy. Instead of remaining on the show at her current rate, Moore decided to play hardball and walk away from the show that made her famous.
Bravo has not commented on the casting decision.
While Kenya Moore keeps justifying her exit, she recently stepped out in public and showed off her growing baby bump. The former RHOA star was spotted walking the red carpet at the premiere of WEtv’s Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.
Interestingly, Porsha Williams was also at the event showing off her pregnancy belly. The two even took time to pose together holding their baby bumps.
The new season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to premiere later this fall on Bravo.
