Last night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” circled heavily around Kenya Moore and her surprise marriage to Marc Daly. After watching her best friend Cynthia Bailey defend her on the show, the Queen of Twirl took to Twitter to call out the other ladies.
During the second installment of the two-part San Francisco trip episodes, Kenya Moore had to leave early to attend her grandmother’s funeral.
Marlo Hampton, friend of Nene Leakes, gathered the remaining women and asked the questions that were on everyone’s mind: If Cynthia is Kenya Moore’s bestie, then why wasn’t she invited to her wedding? Why (at that time) had she still not met the elusive Marc Daly?
Hampton then went on to ask the ladies at the table to “raise their hand” if they believed that Kenya was married. Cynthia told the others that she doesn’t want to be around while they’re picking on her friend and left the table.
Nene went to explain to Cynthia that she didn’t think Marlo was trying to attack Moore but instead was trying to get to the bottom of why no one was invited to the island wedding or even knew that Kenya was getting married — including her own “best friend.”
The episode was taped months ago and since then many of the girls in the friend group have met Marc.
However, Kenya had some things to get off of her chest about the entire situation.
The model tweeted: “I can’t get my foot out the door before these girls try to tear down my husband and my friends. @cynthiabailey10 is a great friend and they all mad that they don’t have friends like her. @Kandi knows that when I first got married I talked about my husband all the time just not in the group #rhoa”
Moore also added: “My own father didn’t attend her wedding so @cynthiabailey10 shouldn’t feel bad… I ELOPED. She has FaceTime with my husband Marc just didn’t meet him in person and that was 6 months ago. Mind your business if you aren’t my friend #rhoa.”
Do you think Kenya was in the wrong for not inviting Cynthia Bailey to her nuptials?
