As fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta already know, Kenya Moore has confirmed her pregnancy on the reunion episode. The reality star opened up about all of the fertility treatments she underwent for a very long time in order to conceive with her husband Marc Daly at the age of 47.
She took to Instagram live to reveal that: ‘I feel pretty good. No, I do not have a surrogate. I am a smart girl. I have been wanting a family of my own for a very long time.’
The star also said that she started seeing fertility specialists when she was 40!
‘I know how freeze eggs and taking certain supplements to increase my body’s chances of being a healthy environment and to produce fresh eggs. This is a very happy time for me, and I am not going to entertain nonsense.’ Moore added.
The star made it very clear that she is really ‘cautious right now’ and would rather keep most of her pregnancy away from the public eye.
However, she is willing to share her journals as well as her sonograms with her many fans.
The first rumors that she is expecting started going around in March.
One source on set dished that ‘Kenya was getting grilled about her secret marriage and Andy [Cohen] point blank asked if she was pregnant. Andy asked her about being spotted at the fertility clinic and said: ‘Are you pregnant?’ And Kenya said, ‘Yes.’’
During the reunion, Kenya finally confirmed it officially: ‘We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl late this year. Oh, my God, I said that! I do not want to talk about the details because I am still really nervous about everything, so I want to get past a safe place.’
