Kenya Moore has decided to share a rare photo of her father, Ronald Grant, and a sweet note where she praised him.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star unveiled a photo where she is taking a sweet selfie with her dad who is smoking a cigar.
Many are hoping that it is an old photo because Kenya is currently pregnant with her first child.
In the Father’s Day message, Kenya spoke about her once-strained relationship with Ronald.
Marc Daly’s wife said: “Happy Father’s Day Dad! We made it through the tough times. No matter how much time we have had apart, we found each other again. I always knew you loved me. #happyfathersday.”
In a recent interview, Kenya said she regrets not inviting her father to her wedding.
She confessed: “I decided not to invite my father because you never know what he’s going to say. He can’t be controlled. And I didn’t want there to be anything at my wedding to upset my future husband. I didn’t want anything to spoil my wedding day. … I knew that if he said the wrong thing — and I know my husband — [it would mess up everything].”
One fan answered: “Beautiful picture of you and your Dad. Sometimes I feel down because all of my friends are married and having kids and I’m still trying to find mister right. Kenya, you are an inspiration to us women who may not be on the same timeline as their friends …pray for me girl.”
Another commenter shared: “This is a beautiful picture of u and ur dad. God bless you, and we love you so much; TeamTwirl; Twirl Nation; Twirlers. Praying for a healthy blessed, baby.”
A third follower claimed: “I love your dad! I can sense his sincerity and love for his baby girl! Happy Fathers Day, Sir!My favorite male on RHOA. Love everything he says. Funny and not at all trying to be.”
A fourth individual replied: “So proud of you Kenya. You turn the page and saw something positive in your dad instead of rejecting him. You are a real model, and I honestly don’t care what people say about you. Praying for you. Gods time is the best. You are so real with a good heart, and that’s what I love about you. My prayer for you always is that you will continue to live the glorious life which God has predestined for you. Love u.”
Kenya seems happier than ever.
