According to an insider on the set of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore’s ‘pregnancy scare’ was nothing more than fakery! As fans of the show remember, the reality TV star got in trouble with the production team for refusing to feature her new hubby on the show at all!
As a consequence, Kenya was not allowed to join the rest of the cast on their Barcelona trio, therefore, causing her to lose no less than $100,000 for not showing up in the episodes.
Now, one source claims that Moore thought of the best way she might avoid being fired from the show for good and that is to fake a pregnancy.
‘Kenya was in trouble with the production after her hubby refused to film at all. They told her she was going to get fired, and she had to do something to stay on the show. It was filmed after the other women got back from Barcelona, not before,’ the insider stated.
Moore was shown on the show going to the doctors where she had to take a blood and urine test in order to determine for sure if she was pregnant or not considering she claimed that she was six weeks late.
The blood test was actually needed because the medical specialist told Moore the first (urine) test was ‘inconclusive.’
Our insider claims that producers never actually believed Moore was pregnant.
‘No one believes a word that Moore tells them. They knew she was super desperate to stay on the show, so she made it all up. And it is not working; she is getting fired after this season,’ the source added.
