Kendall Jenner has been rethinking her International Fashion Week attendance because of severe anxiety coupled with multiple cases of sleep paralyses. Furthermore, the model also has a fear of flying and she talked about all of these problems on the latest ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ episode, on November 6.
It scares her so much that she thinks of quitting modeling at the fashion event.
“I just wake up and I’m fully paralyzed,” she tells Kris Jenner, on the phone. “I wake up in the middle of the night and I can’t move.” At this point Kris dismisses the problem and just tells her it’s just her fear of traveling that’s holding her back. But of course, Kendall gets angry and retaliates: “When I’m rushed to the hospital, you guys are gonna wake up,”
After a few other updates on the family’s other member’s lives, the show cuts back to Kendall speaking with Kris about the fashion week schedule: “I can’t travel that much. I’m scared. I’m freaking out,” she tells her mom, pretty much freaking out. “I’m scared to fall asleep. It’s almost like my heart stops.” Kris tells her that designers are counting on her to model for them, and Kendall protests. “I think my health is more important,” she says.
Later on Kendall confides in Kim as well, who is much more understanding and supporting than her mother. She asks Kendall if she decided to go or not: “I don’t know. I’m afraid to get on a plane. I’m supposed to be gone and traveling,” Kim also brings in a therapist for Kendall to try to solve her problem.
“I had a crazy panic attack on the plane once. Now I get sleep paralysis on planes,” The therapist tries to teach Kendall some coping mechanisms, but Kendall doesn’t want to do it. “Pass,” she says. “Every time I think about my anxiety, it only makes it worse.”
