Kelly Ripa Ready To Dump Ryan Seacrest? Michael Strahan Is Reportedly Begging To Come Back To ‘Live’

It has only been two years since Michael Strahan announced his shocking departure from Live, yet he is already thinking about quitting his new gig on Good Morning America. The former NFL player has not performed well on the show and is reportedly looking to rejoin Kelly Ripa on Live.
Inside sources claim that Strahan has major regrets about leaving Ripa in the first place. On Good Morning America, Strahan helms the afternoon slot and feels like a third wheel with his other co-hosts.
Ratings for his segment continue to plummet and producers are worried about the numbers. With things heading downhill, Strahan’s team is planning a strategy for him to return to his old show with Ripa.
Even worse, the higher ups in ABC who originally hired Strahan are no longer working for the network. With his support structure gone, an inside source told Radar Online that Strahan feels alone and without backup. His only course of action, short of a massive ratings change, is to return to Live and his old post with Ripa.
The only problems are that Ripa still feels miffed about how he left, and fans really love his replacement, Ryan Seacrest. Fortunately, Strahan’s people have a plan in mind to win Ripa back.
“Michael plans to pass himself off as an innocent pawn of the network execs,” an insider dished. “But it’s two years later and Kelly is still feeling sandbagged! It’s going to be a very hard sell!”
While we wait to see which direction Strahan goes, he claims to have no regrets about leaving Live. Strahan left the talk show in 2016 after working alongside Ripa for four years.
In a recent interview, Strahan said that he would have done everything the same way if he was given a second chance. He nor Kelly Ripa have not commented on the rumors surrounding his possible return to Live.
