The singer is ready to have her very own talk show! ET reports that Kelly Clarkson shot the pilot on Friday at the NBC Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
Apparently, one eyewitness shared that the set looks like a barn’s interior.
There are also string lights and wooden beams with golden records on the walls, decorating it.
She also has a band that was situated in a corner.
The same source shared that she will be covering a well-known song at the start of every episode.
For the first one, she did a great rendition of a Cardi B track!
During the test run, she explained that she wanted her own show ‘that addresses real people with real issues.’
The first guests to stop by were Josh Groban, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Terry Crews.
Aside from the celebs, there was also a group of quilting women, an employee at a homeless center as well as a pair who complained about their sex life.
Clarkson’s talk show also featured some singing segments, games and interviews, some serious and sentimental while others silly.
The brand new show had a live audience, the guests watching from a Chicago salon and commenting all throughout.
The insider shared that her hubby Brandon Blackstock and their two kids, Remington, 2 and River, 4 made sure to be in attendance an show her support.
ET reported earlier this week that the singer had started working on her own talk show set to air in the fall of 2019.
She is also set to return to The Voice as a coach for season 15.
Last year, the American Idol alum told the outlet that in this industry, ‘you’re either not working at all or you are working every day and every hour. You just want to make sure you are happy, and you love what you are doing. I love my life.’
