It has been over four years since Tom Cruise spent quality time with his daughter, Suri, and the latest reports that surfaced online claimed things are not getting any better.
Au contraire, the relationship between the father and daughter is further deteriorating, and there is nothing Katie Holmes can do about it.
The report that was posted by OK! Magazine claimed that the action star has no plans to anger the heads of the church of Scientology to see his child.
A source close to Holmes told the publication: “Any child in her position would naturally begin to question why her father won’t see her.”
Suri has “surely” tried numerous times to contact her father and the members of his entourage requesting to have a brief telephone conversation to no avail.
The pal added that the situation “is enough to make you cry.”
The worried pal had this to say about the controversial church: “I guess Tom would instead isolate himself from his flesh and blood than risk upsetting Scientology. His faith and his career are the priorities now.”
According to Hollywood Life, Holmes is sad with her ex-husband’s decision not to have any contact with their daughter.
The second insider stated: “Katie has grown so tired, disappointed, and frustrated with Tom’s absence as a father. She has made peace with his lavish lifestyle, work, and religious choices, and has decided to do her best to parent Suri on her own.”
The source went on to say: “Tom does not make any time for Suri, and she has learned to deal with not having her father around. As Suri matures into a young girl, she is learning more about who her father and how famous he is in the world and about his busy lifestyle as a big-time actor. But that does not make things any easier for the child.”
Holmes has made her child her top priority and is doing all she can to make sure she does not miss out anything.
The person concluded by: “Due to Tom’s absence, Suri and Katie have an extremely tight bond. Suri is getting everything she needs from her mom: love, guidance, wisdom, and grace.”
It seems unlikely that things will move in the right direction shortly.
