Kathy Wakile States That News Of Joe’s Impending Deportation Is “Devastating”

Kathy Wakile, Teresa Giudice’s ex-co-star on Real Housewives Of New Jersey, expressed remorse over Joe’s recent sentencing to be deported out of the United States of America. Wakile, 53, said to reporters from Us Weekly that it was “very sad and devastating news,” and her heart is “broken for him and their entire family.”
According to the reality star, his punishment is quite harsh, considering he has lived as an American for a long time and has served time for his past mistakes.
To be deported back to Italy is a tremendous strain on his family, especially his young teenage daughters. As fans of the series know, she appeared on seasons three through seven and has feuded with Teresa over the years.
During an episode back in September of 2016, the 46-year-old author referred to Teresa as a “cancer,” however, later on, she said she would always support Giudice, even through her darkest times.
A source said to Us Weekly that Mr. Giudice intends to appeal the judge’s ruling, and he isn’t going down with a fight. It’s his only option; his family lives here and he can’t live them behind.
Unfortunately, an immigration lawyer who spoke with the publication claims a successful appeal isn’t likely. As fans of the reality star know, he moved to the United States as a young infant, but never officially became a citizen of the US.
As it was previously reported, Joe is in prison right now serving a 41-month sentence which started in March 2016, following counts of fraud, bankruptcy, in addition to wire and mail fraud.
Joe also has to pay approximately $200,000 in taxes. As for how Teresa thinks about this is unclear, some sources claim she isn’t that concerned with his deportation, considering she has gotten used to living life without him over the years.
Where it matters most is for their daughters together. Joe has four daughters with Teresa, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, who are all in their teenage years, perhaps their most vulnerable stage.
