Kathryn Dennis, the ex-boyfriend of the Southern Charm star, Thomas Ravenel, was awarded 50% custody of the two children she shares with him. On the season finale on Thursday, July 12th, it was revealed that Kathryn would get 50/50 custody with Thomas Ravenel.
Dennis and Ravenel co-parent their four-year-old daughter, Kensie, as well as their 2-year-old son, Saint. Dennis, 26, struggled with substance abuse in the past, leaving her unable to care for her children.
In the 5th season of Southern Charm, Kathryn documented her struggle with drug addiction, one episode at a time, and on Instagram, she dished on her memorable time on the show.
The reality star stated, “I feel humble, proud, blessed, and I owe it all to my Kensie + Saint-y.” As it was previously reported, Thomas was accused of sexual assault by two different women, making his future with the show decidedly unclear.
On the 4th of May, the production studio announced they had begun an investigation into the claims against Mr. Ravenel. The company, Haymaker, as well as Bravo, their distributor, said in a statement after the accusations came out that they took such claims very seriously.
The studio said that once they had gathered a sufficient amount of information, “appropriate action would be taken.” An insider who spoke with Us Weekly alleged that Mr. Ravenel’s role on the show would be up in the air until the South Carolina police finished their inquiry.
Ashley Perkins, the daughter of Debbie Holloway Perkins, claims her mom met Ravenel on a dating application, Tinder, in October 2015.
And after a few months of talking, Ravenel asked Debbie to go out on a date on the 25th of December. It was just one month after Kathryn had given birth to their son, Saint, on the 10th of November.
According to Ms. Perkins, Thomas supposedly held Debbie down and pulled his genitals out and molested her private areas with his hands.
